Incoloy 800H (Alloy 800H, UNS N08810) Plate/Sheet Description:
The Incoloy alloy series is produced by Special Metals Corporation. It consists of nickel, iron and chromium. These alloys are used in applications that require high resistance to corrosion and stable performance at elevated temperatures. Incoloy 800H is an iron–nickel–chromium alloy with the same basic composition as Incoloy 800, but it exhibits significantly improved creep strength. This improvement results from accurate control of the carbon, aluminium and titanium contents, combined with a high temperature annealing process. The carbon content (0.05 to 0.10%) and the grain size (exceeding ASTM 5) were set to optimise the creep properties. Moreover, the alloy incorporates modifications in the combined titanium and aluminium content (0.85 to 1.2%) to ensure optimal performance at high temperatures. The product is dual certified and integrates the properties of both forms.
