Platinum Crucibles & Moulds Description
Our platinum crucible and platinum mould are manufactured from a 5% Au-Pt alloy. Crucibles and moulds containing 5% Au-Pt are employed for sample preparation prior to XRF analysis. The non-wetting property of this material reduces adhesion between the sample and the crucible after melting.
