Nano-Tungsten Powder (W) Description
Nano-Tungsten Powder (W) exhibits high purity, small particle size, low bulk density, consistent particle shape, high reactivity, extensive specific surface area and an extremely low oxygen content after treatment with inert gas. It disperses easily and is used in industrial applications, currently in alloys for aerospace, electronic packaging alloys, electrode materials, microelectronic films, sintering aids, protective coatings, gas sensor electrodes and similar components.
Nano-Tungsten Powder (W) finds application in both conventional and high-technology industries such as mechanical engineering, electronics, aerospace, metallurgy, chemistry, and environmental sectors.

Nano-Tungsten Powder (W) Applications
- Cemented carbides: They are applicable in hardmetal components for military and civil equipment in aerospace and large ships.
- Alloy materials for electronic housings: They may be used in applications involving electronic packaging, electrodes, microelectronic films, gas sensors and related devices.
- Precision moulds: They are employed in the manufacture of precision moulding materials and powder metallurgical products.
- Sintering aids: They reduce the sintering temperature of tungsten products to 1 200℃, which is 800℃ lower than that for conventional tungsten powder (2 000℃). The attainable density can exceed 95% of tungsten mass, thereby reducing the requirements for subsequent processing steps such as vertical melting, rotary forging and other procedures.
- The powder is suitable for the production of nano-tungsten carbide powder.
