Calcia-stabilised Zirconia Rod Description
Calcia-stabilised zirconia rods provide a viable alternative to magnesia-stabilised zirconia when the manufacturing process is sensitive to magnesia and a higher coefficient of thermal expansion is acceptable. Calcia-stabilised zirconia exhibits reliable durability and functions as fireproof as well as insulating material. CSZ rods are manufactured for melting superalloys and precious metals. They exhibit chemical inertness, maintain performance under temperature changes up to 2 200°C, and demonstrate resistance to acids and bases.

Applications of Calcia-stabilised Zirconia Rod
Calcia-stabilised zirconia rods are used in shafts, pistons, sealing structures, within the automotive industry, in oil drilling equipment, as insulating components in electrical devices, in ceramic knives, and in replacement parts for ceramic hair cutting machines. They meet the required density, bending strength and fracture toughness for many engineering applications.
Packaging of Calcia-stabilised Zirconia
Our Calcia Stabilized Zirconia Tube is handled with care to minimise damage during storage and transport, thereby retaining the product quality in its original state.
